HOPE NOW

Isn't it crazy how much songs can mean to you? All my life music has defined my life. I can tell you what any song that comes on the radio reminds me of. When I was in high school, my BFF's and I had a song for every summer.

Here are my favorites:

1998 - trouble song
1999 - BBQ stain song
2000 - angel song (by the way - i can NEVER find this song as i have no idea who sang it!!)

Plus any She Daisy song or Blackhawk song reminds me of those summer days......

Whenever I hear those songs its like I am back in that time. Like I can smell the summer, feel the breeze on the Northfields boat, remember what it felt like to be with those friends all summer. I can also remember perfectly what it was like when I was dating Brett if I hear any AAR from their first album, Dashboard Confessional or Michelle Branch. Its amazing that when I hear a song my brain can remember so many feelings and memories and smells. Anyways, I have to post the words to a song that I love right now because the words are so awesome and I get chills almost every time I hear this song. Whats weird about it is that it just came out, but it brings me back to my high school youth group days. It has the same sound as the kind of Christian music we listened to back then and brings back all these memories of sleepovers and road trips.
