Meeting Barney

Today was such a fun day! We woke up and went to the park with Emily's kids and daycare kids. Ryann was pretty crabby since she decided to wake up at 5:45am, but she still had a lot of fun. Then I took Ryann to McDonalds and she got a happy meal. Then she went and took a short nap. Then we went and met my friend Sarah and her daughter, Jayda, at the PBTV fish fry where Ryann and Jayda blew bubbles, pet snakes, got their faces painted, got balloon animals and friendship bracelets, and met BARNEY! Ryann was star-struck. It was so cute! She looks at me and says. "Mommy, Barney big!" She hugged him and took her picture with him and even told him she loved him. How cute! So after YEARS of my protesting the stupid PBTV Fish Fry (which by the way, brings almost 8,000 people out to a free meal in Bemidji....SICK!) we ended up having a great time, and will probably go again!
