TODDLERS!! AARRGGHHH!

Ok so i am sitting here on only a couple hours (if that) of sleep over the past two nights because Ryann insists on having an emotional breakdown either right before bed, or during the middle of the night. I am supposed to be enjoying my sleep because once we hit october, i will have a new baby to keep me up all night. I just can't figure out if she is incredibly stubborn , I am parenting wrong, or something is bothering or hurting her. It just doesn't seem like the rest of my friends have such a loud, crying, screaming kid who never goes to sleep at anyones house, or has emotional breakdowns at the drop of a hat. Literally, she will scream and cry her head off, throw things, including her body, and go completely insane if she doesn't want to do something. My neighbors probably think I'm a horrible mother, along with everyone at WalMart. That seems to be her favorite place to throw a fit in the cart. All I can really do is ignore her, because I for sure won't give her what she wants when she is acting like that, but people really look at me like I'm crazy and they have never seen a 2-year-old act like that before. AArrrrghh.....I am at a loss here....

Well, you know how Kaydence acts so that should make you reassured that it isn't your parenting because if it was I'd have 3 kids that all acted like that! LOL Thankfully I don't because I know what a handful Ryann and Kaydence are!

This IS a phase and she'll grow out of it. Justkeep telling yourself that. I know it's hard when you feel judged by other parents but most parents, if they've had more than one kid at least have dealt with it toO!

I totally feel your pain! I have felt like the biggest failure as a mom in public due to my strong-willed little girl's tantrums/hitting/emotional breakdowns. Though she's still endlessly energetic and always demanding, I will say that 3 was a turning point and things seemed to get easier for us then. Maybe 4 will be even better!

By the way, it was cool to find your blog and see pics of your cute little girl! Congrats on the pregnancy too. I hope you are blessed with a very compliant child the next time around as we were.
